Picture Book

Babar's Museum of Art is a wonderful book. It tells the story of Babar and his wife Celeste turning an abandoned train station into a museum of fine art. Actual famous paintings are included in the pages, and the art only adds credibility to the museum in the book. Students could study these famous works of art, as well as the artists who painted them, for a lesson. Students could also visit a local art museum and compare that museum with the one in the book. De Brunhoff, Laurent. (2003). Babar's Museum of Art. Libri.
